Maccabi Tel Aviv expected to sign Hettsheimer, target Caner-Medley
Il Maccabi vuole anche Jasikevicius ma Blatt non è d'accordo
While head coach David Blatt travels in Eastern Europe as part of his Russian national team obligations, Maccabi Tel Aviv is filling in the misses pieces of its front court roster.
Team sources recently told Sportando that Maccabi is zooming in on Brazilian big man Rafael Hettsheimer, and that, "unless something crazy happens, he's expected to sign during next week."
Maccabi is also looking to complete its 4 position after David Blu recently pulled the plug on his return. "Nik Caner-Medley is the team's top candidate at that position," added the source.
In addition, team management are pushing to acquire Panathinaikos' Sarunas Jasikevicius, however, as of now, Blatt disagrees.
