Maccabi Tel Aviv in talks with Giorgi Shermadini and David Logan
Il centro georgiano è molto vicino agli israeliani
Maccabi Tel Aviv is in talks with Giorgi Shermadini for the coming season, as reported to Sportando by a source. The Georgian big man is playing with Cantù and is actually sidelined after a foot surgery. Shermadini was signed by Cantù last summer coming from Panathinaikos with whom he has spent the last few years with some experiences on loan abroad (in 2010-11 Shermadini has played with Union Olimpija Ljubljana).
The center is the main target for Maccabi Tel Aviv who will likely lose Richard Hendrix who broke negotiations with the team on the new contract. Shermadini's agent, contacted by Sportando, didn't want to comment the news. The contract which will be signed by Shermadini is for the next two seasons.
According to Walla, another target of Maccabi is David Logan. The American combo guard with Polish passport is actually in Greece with Panathinaikos with whom he is having limited minutes.
