Theo Papaloukas to leave Maccabi Tel Aviv?

According to David Pick, Theo Papaloukas and Maccabi Tel Aviv might part ways soon. Talks have already been made and sources with high knowledge approved the information to Pick, 'The possibility of Papaloukas leaving Maccabi has already been discussed behind closed doors. Still, nothing has been decided yet.' Important to note that Papaloukas' contract doesn't include an out clause, yet if potential offers appear, Maccabi may agree to release the guard and save some extra change. Papaloukas, a member of the 35 All-Time Greatest Players of the Euroleague and 20012010 All-Decade Team, is also an eight-time Euroleague Final Four participant known for being clutch, and initially joined Maccabi to provide experience and leadership down the stretch but found himself last on the team's rotation not only throughout the series versus Pao, but for the majority of the current season as well.
