Omri Casspi is not close to returning to Maccabi Tel Aviv

As reported by David Pick on Twitter, the return of Omri Casspi to Maccabi Tel Aviv during the NBA lockout is not close, as reported earlier this week. The two parts are having some problems in resolving specific contract clauses which will allow the forward to return back to Israel.

Casspi, the first Israeli to play in the NBA, said several times he will play just with Maccabi Tel Aviv in case he will return to Europe.

Before the lockout in the NBA, Casspi was traded to Cleveland Cavaliers.
