Maccabi Ashdod tabs Oliver LaFayette

Impressive signing for Maccabi Ashdod. The Israeli team landed former Boston Celtics point guard Oliver LaFayette. The American started the season with Partizan Belgrade but was released after few months.

Then LaFayette returned to US playing some games with Fort Wayne Mad Ants, in NBDL. In February he found another contract in Europe with Besiktas but failed the physical tests and was not signed.

Now the new opportunity is in Israel with Maccabi.

The Israeli team also released Dalron Johnson who was averaging 7.5ppg in 2 games played.
