Maccabi: Hendrix, out 7-10 days

Maccabi Electra Tel Aviv is facing injury problems right before back-to-back key home games to lock the top spot in Group A, as power forward Richard Hendrix will be sidelined for 7 to 10 days due to illness, the club announced Monday. Hendrix suffers from Pneumonia and and the team's medical staff suggested him to rest and sit out. As such, Hendrix will be unavailable for the upcoming Turkish Airlines Euroleague home game against Partizan mt:s, leaving the team with a shorter, 10-player rotation. He is also doubtful for his team's home against BC Khimki Moscow Region next week. "I am confident Hendrix will still help us a lot in the future because he is a very good player," head coach David Blatt said. "His illness stops him from helping us when we will need him, and I am sure that we will see a much improved version of Hendrix once he recovers from the illness."
