Hapoel tabs Jason Rich, Lior Khakhmon and Amit Simhon
Triplo colpo di mercato della squadra israeliana
Hapoel Migdal made its first moves in the off-season market by inking three players - shooting guard Jason Rich, forward Lior Khakhmon and scoring ace Amit Simhon - to respective multi-year deals on Tuesday. Rich (191, 24) and Khakhmon (202, 24) penned respective two-year contracts while Simhon (197, 21) inked a three-year contract. Rich arrives from Maccabi Haifa, where he averaged 14.4 points, 4 rebounds and 3.1 assists. He has also played for NGC Cantu since finishing his four-year college career at Florida State University (NCAA). Khakhmon had a key role in Maccabi Netanya the previous season, helping the team to reach the Israeli League semifinals. He averaged 5.3 points and 3.1 rebounds in 27 Israeli League games. Simhon arrives to Jerusalem despite not getting a lot of playing time in his first two seasons with Ironi Ramat Gan. Last season, however, Simhon shined with Maccabi Hod Hasharon, averaging 19.9 points in 24 games in the Israeli second division. Simhon has been a member of the Israeli under-16, under-18 and under-20 national teams.
