After two amazing seasons with Hapoel Holon, Which added to his resume one Israeli Championship and one Israeli Cup, Chris Watson is leaving the team and moves to Ironi Ashkelon.
Watson (34, 2.00) had a minor role in the championship season (07/08) but last season under coach Danny Franco he became a starting five player and delivered 7.5 ppg, 4.0 rpg and tons of leadership. Watson Had a contract with Holon to a third season but the team which lower her budget decided to give up on him.
Watson, who played in the Israeli National team arrived to Israel in the late 90' and played as a foreign player in Maccabi Hadera, later he played also in Hapoel Tel-Aviv, Migdal Haemek. He then received Israeli passport and joined Givat Shmuel as an Israeli.
