Kadir Stays in Gilboa Galil

Elishay Kadir (forward, 22, 2.00) who fights these days on his place in the final squad of the Israeli National Team, Signed in Gilboa/Galil for one more season. He will play together with his last year team mates Isaiah Swann, Deon Dowell, Avishay Gordon and Dagan Yivsory and together with two newcomers: Lior Segev and Moti Moscovich.


Kadir averaged last season 8.5 pts and 4.7 reb per game, while he was playing only 22 minutes per game. In the playoffs 1/4 finals series he wasn’t at his best but he blossomed in the final four with 2 great games (17.0 ppg, 9.0 rpg, 3.5 spg)


He continued in this great shape with the Israeli Olympic National Team which competed in the University games. Kadir scored 14.7 ppg in the tournament and added 8.3 rpg and 1.9 apg,
numbers which turned him to
a serious candidate on a spot in the Israeli National team in the coming European Championship.
