Coach Jino Stays in Nahariya

Yaacov Jino (45) will continue as the coach of Ironi Nahariya for 2 more seasons. Nahariya's presidenet Mr' Avi Sabag and Coach Jino met today and decided to continue the relationships for 2 more years.

Nahariya had big financial problems last season but Jino stayed all along with the team and despite releasing few importent players, like Raviv Limonad and Aaron Macghee, Jino led the team to the 7th place with 10-12 record.

Sabag:"we are going to a difficult season so it was important for us to have a great coach like Jino"

The next season will the 4th of Jino as head coach in the Israeli League. for many years he coaced team from the 2nd and 3rd leagues in Israel and was assistant coach in the first division. in 03/04 he became the head coach of Bnei Hasharon and led the team to the 4th place. in 04/05 he was assistant coach of Pini Gershon in Maccabi Tel-Aviv. The next season he returned to Bnei Hasharon. in 06/07 and 07/08 he coached Leuven from Belgium. In 08/09 he returned to Israel and arrived to Nahariya.

With that agreement all the 12 teams of the Israeli League announced their coaches for next season. Here is the full list of the the coaches in the Israeli Premier League for 09/10:

Ironi Ashkelon - Ariel Bet Halahmi
Ironi Ramat-Gan - Daniel Gutt
Maccabi Rishon Lezion - Effi Birenboim
Elizur Maccabi Netanya - Eric Alfasi
Hapoel Afula - Eli Rabi

Jino also coached the U20 National Team and led it to the 4th place in 2005 European Championship.
