Bet-Halahmi returns to Ashkelon

After having 8 coaches in the last 3 seasons, Ironi Ashkelon decided that Ariel bet Halahmi is the right man for them. Bet-Halahmi coaced the team from 03/04 to 05/06 and led her to the playoffs semi-finals in 04/05, a season in which he won coach of the year of the Israeli League.

Bet-Halahmi coached Ironi Nahariya in 06/07 and 07/08. in the
later season he was replaced by Roni Bussani. Last year Bet Halahmi replaced Moshe Weinkrantz in Bnei Hasaharon but failed to led the team to the Final Four.

Bet-Halahmi record in the Israeli Leauge is 233 games, 120 vicories and 113 losses. He is the third between the current coaches of the league in game coached after Pini Gershon and Effi Birenboim.

Bet-Halahmi is the current coach of the Israeli U20 National Team.
