Washam and Nahariya part ways

The American guard, Tony Washam (198-F/G-82, agency: Gross Zeev ISA, college: St.Vincent) was released from Ironi Nahariya, after some disciplinary problems. According to the club the player snapped on his teammates and coach after the game Vs. Jerusalem on Sunday. Two days latter Washam showed up to morning practice but left after five minutes, claiming he was injured. Washam arrived to Israel on Oct. 2006 and played for two years with Hapoel Holon (one year in the second Div. and one in the first) and even won the championship title on 2007/08 season. in nine games of the Israeli league Washam averaged 10.7 ppg, 4.6 rpg and 2.2 apg.
