Due to the Players' Union Strike, the BSL sadly announces it cannot continue the Winner League season

The league administration and the players association have failed to reach an agreement for the 2018/19 season regarding the “Russian Rule” (two Israeli players obliged to be on the court at the same time) and the number of foreign players that can be registered per game (currently it’s five). After the minister of sports and culture was asked to help in finding the solution the players association declined the offer.
