Veteran guard Mike Efevberha has sent a statement to Sportando regarding his current situation with Bnei Herzliya. Here's the statement:

"I did nothing wrong in Herzliya. I notified the club my decision to leave the night of December 25th, before our practice on December 26th. I did not breach the contract. I am here with my family and do not want any problems. I’m just asking for my final payment and my letter of clearance and they have not responded to me for 2 days. They are trying to force my family and me out of Israel without what is rightfully owed to me.”
