Maccabi Tel Aviv is close to firing coach Ainars Bagatskis after the fifth straight loss in Winner League, the eight in a row considering EuroLeague too.
The Latvian coach arrived in Tel Aviv in the middle of the season after his short sting in Istanbul as assistant coach of David Blatt.
The management of Maccabi Tel Aviv would love to name head coach Zvi Sherf, Sharon Drucker or Arik Shivek but the goal is to sign one of them just till the end of the season and not longer.
