Maccabi Haifa signs Evan Ravenel to a two-year contract

The Maccabi Hunter Haifa professional basketball team of the Israeli Basketball Super League announced today they have signed center/power forward Evan Ravenel through the 2017-18 season. Per club policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Ravenel, 26, appeared in 57 contests last season for Ryukyu Golden Kings Okinawa in Japan while averaging a double-double on 16.7 points and 10.5 rebounds along with 1.6 assists in 26.7 minutes per game. He was named Asia-Basket.com All-Japanese BJ League Center of the Year, and helped lift his team to their fourth championship after being awarded FINAL MVP, registering a double-double on 22 points and 12 rebounds in 33 minutes.
