Simone Pianigiani is the new head-coach of Hapoel Jerusalem

Hapoel "Bank Yahav" Jerusalem is pleased to announce the signing of Simone Pianigiani as head coach for the next two seasons. Coach Pianigiani's depth of experience and achievements make him a clear choice to help guide Hapoel President Dr. Ori Allon's vision of adding European success to the team's growing success over the last several years.
Pianigiani comes from his experience at the helm of the Italian National Team with whom he has reached the qualification to the Olympic Qualifying Tournament.
The coach from Siena chose Hapoel over Strasbourg and was chosen for one of the most important available benches of the summer and one of the most rampant clubs in the entire Europe.
Pianigiani made history in Italian Serie A winning six consecutive national championships and reaching twice the Euroleague Final Four with Mens Sana Siena.
