Maccabi Tel Aviv reportedly interested in three players of Nizhny

Maccabi Tel Aviv is strongly considering the possibility to add three new players from the surprising Russian team BC Nizhny Novogorod, Gigantes reported (via Sport-Express).

The Israeli team sent scouting director Avi Even to evaluate Taylor Rochestie, Trey Thompkins and Gal Mekel.

There are rumors around the former Clippers that whisper that Maccabi is ready to offer him a two-year contract with a NBA escape.

Rochestie won Alphonso Ford Trophy, averaging 18.9 points per game in Euroleague. Thompkins showed a great shape after multiple injury problems and reached 14.5 points and 8.1 rebounds per game. Mekel gave them a strong help in playmaking and he's Israeli.
