Maccabi Rishon inks a one-year deal with head coach Sharon Drucker

Israeli-League mid-major club Maccabi Rishon have inked a one-year deal with head coach Sharon Drucker, according to a report from Sportando contributor David Pick.

Drucker, head coach of Israel's U21 national-team, previously coached Hapoel Gilboa/Galil (14-15) to a playoffs series against Euro-Champions Maccabi Tel Aviv.

Drucker's camp squeezed out an impressive Game 2 victory to even the series at 1-1 a piece, but Maccabi would move forward to the Semifinals.

Drucker led Hapoel Jerusalem to the 2004 ULEB Cup title and found success coaching in the EuroChallenge, Belgium, and Israel.
