Enel Brindisi close to Michael Umeh

Enel Brindisi is close to penning a deal with Michael Umeh if Bnei Herlizya avoids mathematically the relegation in second Israeli league next weekend.

The Nigerian guard is playing in Israel with Bnei Herzliya. With three games left in Winner League regular season, Bnei Herzliya is close to avoding relegation in National League (they have two wins over Maccabi Ashdod with three games left and Ashdod won just 5 games of 26 thus far).

After next Winner League round, Michael Umeh will likely return to Italy till June.

The Nigerian guard is averaging 15.1 points, 2.9 rebounds and 2.7 assists this season.

Last year Umeh was in Italian Legadue with Aquila Basket Trento and scored 17.1 points per game.
