Kenny Boynton signs a one-month deal with Gilboa Galil
The player signs with the Israeli team
Kenny Boynton, a point guard from Florida, penned a one-month deal with Israeli team Gilboa/Galil, league sources told David Pick.
The 6-foot-2 Florida native guard was released earlier last week by Israeli-rival Netanya after just five games in which he averages 9.6 points, 5 rebounds and 2.8 assists per. Boynton, 22, recorded pro-career highs during his league debut in a road victory over Maccabi Ashdod netting 17 points, shooting 8-for-12 free throws.
Galil head coach Sharon Drucker, who lost his perennial playmaker Gerald Robinson to a groin injury for at least a month, will have Boynton in the lineup for Sunday's game versus league newcomer Nes-Ziona.
