NB I/A: Szolnok Olaj wins the third title in a row
3-1 succes in the final series against Alba Fehervar
Szolnok Olaj is the champion of Hungary for the fifth time in the last 6 seasons, with the title number 7 of own history. The regular season winners closed 3-1 the series against TLI-Alba Fehervar.
During the post-season Olajbanyasz eliminated Pannon and Kormed, across Alba won the series against Atomeromu of Chris Dunn and Kaposvari, who had a great season of Spica, Hendlein (15+11 average) and Ubilla (17ppg, 5.5rpg and 7.6asp).
After the game-1 victory Szolnok lost badly the second game of the series (66-91), but with the next two victories the team celebrated the championship. 78-76 the score in the decisive game-4 of the finals.
Really amazing season of David Vojvoda, that played also a really great finals with 22ppg and almost 9apg in the three victories. Important also for the winners the contribution from Milosevic, Borisov, Keller, Jones, Kovacs and Vrbanc. Not was enough for the other finalist the incredible series of Peter Lorant: 20, 17, 30 and 16 points for the Hungarian center. Alba had also the losing effort of the foreign player: Myles, Chery, Spurlock and Pearson.
