Kooperativa NBL: it's CEZ Nymburk again, 14th championship in a row
No surprises in the finals for the title against Decin
CEZ Nymburk is again Kooperativa NBL champion, 14 times in the last 14 Czech Republic seasons. In the first home/away finals Nymburk won both games, 82-71 and 70-56 the victories for the 2017 title.
The champions closed the year with 31-1 record in regular season and only 1 defeat during the post-serason, against Opava. Decin lost the third consecutive final, eliminating in the semifinal series the second best team of the RS BK Pardubice.
In the first game of the finals Sant-Ross was the MVP for Nymburk with 26+10, despite across the good game of Krakovic and Houska. CEZ was perfect in the last match of the year, celebrating at home the success thanks to another great performance of Sant-Ross (21+8). Important also the help from Benda and Lawrence.
