The rookie out of the University of Buffalo has signed his first pro contract
Rookie Raheem Johnson signed his first professional contract with Etha Nicosia of the Cypriot first division, the team announced.
Standing at 6'10'' with a 7'5'' wingspan, Johnson emerged as one of the best shot blockers at the University of Buffalo as he averaged 3.3 blocks per 40 minutes in his senior year. He also averaged 13.5 points and 11.9 rebounds per 40 minutes as a senior, shooting 64% from the field and 82% from the free-throw line.
After finishing his college career, he signed with Interperformances' agent Raz Khan and now is getting ready for his first pro experience overseas.
