Levski Lukoil clinch NBL title
Levski beat Balkan Botevgrad in the finals
Levski Lukoil is the 2017/18 Bulgaria champion thanks to the 3-1 victory in the final series against Balkan Botevgrad. For Levski this is the title number 19 of own history, and first from 2014.
After the regular season (18-6) the team from the capital it was perfect during the playoffs, eliminating Cherno More Ticha and Samokov before to close the finals with the 86-85 away victory of the decisive game-4.
Balkan lost the final for the first time of 2016, and it was not enough the losing effort during the year of Zahariev, Petkov, Washington, Kesar and Callahan.
For the champions really great season of Bozhidar Avramov (10+4.1 average), really important also the help and the experience from Stanimir Marinov and Hristo Nikolov, with good things also for Milosevic, Gudul and Bryant.
