Nikola Dragovic leaves Igokea

The forward is now free agent

Nikola Dragović is no longer a player of Igokea. Experienced forward made a request to terminate his contract with the club, which was accepted and the contract is mutually terminated.

Nikola Dragović decided to leave since he is expecting a better offer from abroad. The club will not seek for his replacement until the end of ABA League, since it is already close to securing itself to avoid relegation.
Dragović started his senior career in Avala Ada. From 2006 by 2010 he played at California University for UCLA Bruins. He returned to Europe in 2010 and signed with Spartak St. Petersburg. He was an important member of the team in his first season and spent decent number of minutes on the court, while he did was not given much playing time in his seacond season. He left Spartak at the end of 2011/12 season and spent the next two seasons with Avellino.
With Serbia and Montenegro U16 national team, Dragović won the gold medal at the 2003 European Championship. Later he decided to play for Serbia. At the 2011 Universiade he led his team as a captain to the gold medal.
Dragović played his best game for Igokea against Levski, when he scored 18 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. His average figures were 24 minutes, 8.7 points and 5 rebounds per game.
