Bingo Merriex to Generali Okapi Aalstar

Generali Okapi Aalstar has signed Bingo Merriex (2m04, 28 years) to a one-season deal. The American power forward/cente played in the French Pro A league last season with Le Havre, German Tigers Tubingen in 2007-2008 and with Dexia Mons-Hainaut in 2006-2007. After Matt Gibson, Kris Sergeant and Loren Stokes, he is Aalstar's fourth off-season acquisition.
