Telenet Oostende confirmed the supremacy in Belgium with the sixth consecutive success in Euromillions League, for the title number 18 of own history. Oostende closed 3-1 the series for the championship against Brussels, after the 33-6 record in regular season.
The champions eliminated during the playoffs race Kangoeroes and Charleroi, losing just one game in the post-season. Brussels won away game-3 but with the 77-64 victory of game-4 Oostende celebrated the conquest of the 2017 league trophy, after the seasonal win also in Belgian Cup.
