Kyle Kuric inks a two-year deal with Zenit
The guard inks in Russia
Zenit St. Petersburg has found an elite scorer to propel the team forward by signing two-time All-EuroCup guard Kyle Kuric to a two-year deal. Kuric (1.93 meters, 27 years old) arrives from Herbalife Gran Canaria Las Palmas, which he led in scoring with 15.1 points per game on a competition-best 50.0% three-point shooting. His 49 three-pointers made were the second-most in the 7DAYS EuroCup last season, too. Kuric, who missed the majority of the 2015-16 season as he recovered from brain tumor surgery, scored the second-most points over the previous three EuroCup seasons (615) and made the most threes (122). Kuric was also an All-Eurocup Second Team selection after his first season with Gran Canaria, during which he led the team to the 2015 EuroCup Finals. He also played two seasons for Estudiantes in Spain before joining Gran Canaria.
