VEF Riga to keep coach Janis Galitis, unlikely to play in Basketball Champions League next season

Janis Galitis will coach VEF Riga next season too and his assistants, Jevgeņijs Kosuškins and Raimonds Feldmanis, will remain with the Latvian champions, as confirmed by the president Edgars Jaunups to Sportacentrs.

VEF Riga will play in Latvian League and in VTB League next season but it is unlikely to join the Basketball Champions League because it will be hard for the club to participate in two different international tournaments in the same year.
