FIBA denied the letter of clearance to Ludde Hakanson, according to Sportacentrs.
The Swedish point guard wants to leave VEF Riga and sign with Baloncesto Sevilla.
Hakanson is on loan from FC Barcelona in Latvia with VEF Riga but his contract doesn’t have any opt out clause. This is the reason why FIBA denied the transfer.
VEF Riga will not negotiate a compensation with FC Barcelona to let Hakanson leave for Sevilla.
Hakanson at the moment is in Spain.
