Nizhny Novgorod lands Victor Rudd
Victor Rudd moves to Russia
Nizhny Novgorod kept improving its roster by inking versatile forward Victor Rudd to a one-year deal on Wednesday. Rudd (2.05 meters, 24 years old) arrives from Delaware of the D-League, where he averaged 15.9 points and 6.8 rebounds in 19 games last season, his first as a professional basketball player. Before that, Rudd played for the University of South Florida, averaging 16.1 points and 6.8 rebounds in 32 NCAA games in the 2013-14 season. "This is a very interesting player who can play at both forward positions. Despite his solid frame, Rudd has great ballhandling. Victor fits in our playing style, he is very aggressive on offense," Nizhny head coach Aigars Bagatsiks. "I am sure he will be really motivated to join our team."
