Fedor Likholitov signs with Krasny Oktyabr

Krasny Oktyabr Volgograd added experience and size to its roster for its upcoming Eurocup debut season with the return of veteran center Fedor Likholitov. The big man Likholitov (210, 34) arrives from Saratov Avtodor, but has previously spent time with the team from Volgograd, helping it in club’s inaugural 2012-13 season. So far he has played a total of four seasons and 35 Eurocup games, having career-averages of 5.7 points and 3.8 rebounds. He lifted the ULEB Cup with Dynamo Moscow in 2006, and has also played in the competition with Triumph Lyubertsy and Besiktas JK Istanbul. During his career, he has also played for Baltika St.Petersburg , Unics Kazan, Ural Great and Krasnye Krylya Samara in his native Russia, Aris Thessaloniki in Greece, and Strasbourg in France, after finishing his four-year college career at the Virginia Commonwealth University (NCAA). Likholitov also helped Aris to win the Greek Cup in 2004 and the FIBA Eurocup in 2003.
