Alessandro Gentile won the Serie A Championship with Olimpia Milano as captain of the team and MVP of the Finals.
The Italian guard/forward has lived the best 24 hours of his life because he has been also selected by the Rockets in the NBA Draft with the 53rd overall pick a few hours before the title.
Gentile has one year remaining on his contract with Olimpia Milano but he has an NBA out for this summer.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Olimpia Milano president Livio Proli said that Gentile will not leave EA7 and a three-year, €800.000 per season contract extension is ready.
According to Il Corriere dello Sport, Gentile has already a two-year guaranteed proposal from the Houston Rockets with the promise of coach McHale to have space in the rotation since his rookie season.
The third option is CSKA Moscow who is eyeing him since weeks and with a $40M budget for next season won't have any problem to negotiate a buyout with Milano.
