Virtus Bologna is the Eurochallenge winner

Virtus Bologna defeated 77-75 in a thrilling final Cholet and won the Eurochallenge 2008/09. Virtus led the entire second half of the game also by 10 but in the final minutes risked to compromise the titlel allowing Cholet and Nando De Colo to cut the lead by 1. In the final second Langford scored 1/2 from the free throw line and in the last possession De Colo missed the victory shot.

For Virtus Bologna, which return to win an International competition after few years, 21 points for Keith Langorfd, 18 for Boykins and double double for Ford (12+12). For French team impressive performance of Nando De Colo who scored 24 points. 17 points also for Marquis.
