FIBA Europe Cup
Due to the extraordinary interest of clubs to participate in the European Club Competitions – Basketball Champions League & FIBA Europe Cup in the upcoming season 2017/2018, the Board of FIBA Europe has exceptionally for the season 2017/2018 approved a restructuring of the FIBA Europe Cup to accommodate all teams that were not accepted into the Basketball Champions League and to allow all registered teams in the FIBA Europe Cup to participate in a European competition.

Currently a total number of thirty-two (32) clubs have registered for the FIBA Europe Cup season 2017/2018.

They will compete for eight (8) spots in the Regular Season of the FIBA Europe Cup through two (2) Qualification rounds. The dates for the Qualification Rounds would therefore be as follows:

QR1 – 1: Wednesday 20 September 2017 QR1 – 2: Wednesday 27 September 2017

QR2 – 1: Wednesday 4 October 2017 QR2 – 2: Wednesday 11 October 2017

Additionally, up to twenty-four (24) clubs will join the Regular Season as losers from the Basketball Champions League Qualification.
