Elan Chalon point guard John Roberson inscribed his name in the history books by setting two FIBA Europe Cup all-time records in a memorable Quarter-Final road game against Cibona Zagreb at the Drazen Petrovic Basketball Hall.
The 28-year-old American playmaker knocked down 10 of his 11 attempts from beyond the three-point arc en route to a 39-point performance for the French side in the Croatian capital.
The previous FIBA Europe Cup scoring record belonged to SL Benfica big man Ivica Radic, who had amassed 38 points against Sopron last season.
Meanwhile, no one had scored more than eight three-pointers in a single game, with the best mark belonging to five players – Toni Bizaca, Andrew Barham, Devonte Newbill, Brady Heslip, Thaddus McFadden.
