Brussels Basketball join FIBA Europe Cup Regular Season
The Belgian team join the cup for 2016/17 season
Burgeoning Belgian basketball club, Brussels Basketball, will play in the 2016-17 FIBA Europe Cup Regular Season.
Entrance into European competition is just the latest milestone in the rapid rise for the Belgian capital-based club.
Brussels Basketball only made their Belgian Scooore League debut in the 2013-14 season, but advanced as far the semi-finals in the League last season.
The side will feature in Group A of Conference 1, alongside Alba Fehervar from Hungary, 2016 Final Four hosts Elan Chalon from France and the loser of the Basketball Champions League (BCL) Qualifier tie between SL Benfica (Portugal) and Varese (Italy).
38 teams will now compete in the FIBA Europe Cup Regular Season, which tips off on 19 October.
