Derwin Kitchen is expected to land in Italy on Thursday.
The American guard signed the contract for the season with Pallacanestro Varese.
Varese can opt out of Kitchen’s contract (for free) by Saturday if he doesn’t convince the coaching staff in his first two days, according to La Prealpina.
Kitchen won the Winner League with Hapoel Jerusalem last June.
