The format of the Quarter-Final Play-Offs is a best-of-three series with the higher ranked team hosting the first game, and a third game if required
Krasnye Krylia Samara, Szolnoki Olaj and Grissin Bon Reggio Emilia have locked up the three quarter-final play-off spots which were still up for grabs on the final night of the EuroChallenge Last 16.
Beginning with Group I, Port of Antwerp Giants travelled to Krasnye Krylia Samara in a straight clash to see who would be the second team from the group to advance to the last eight along with Tartu Rock. The guests hung tight until the final quarter when the defending champions lifted their game a notch, to ease to an 87-67 victory and secure their quarters berth.
Group J was reserving the real tension for the night with three teams still in a position to advance. Playing at home, Krka needed to win to have any chance of advancing and managed to force overtime against the visiting Italian club Reggio Emilia, but ran out of steam with Reggio Emila prevailing 69-66.
The other game from the group was taking place simultaneously in Hungary where Szolnoki Olaj were able to secure top billing from the group with a 74-67 victory over Cholet Basket.
The other two quarter-final play-off pairings, which both come from Groups K and L were already known prior to the final game night.
The quarter-final pairings are as follows:
