EuroChallenge Last 16 Field Completed
16 teams advanced to the second round
After six game days in the Regular Season of the EuroChallenge, 16 teams qualified for the second stage of the competition.
Six teams left it for the last day to clinch their spot in the next round, with Team TEHO Sport Kotka snatching their first-time Last 16 ticket in most dramatic fashion, eliminating Okapi Aalstar in the process.
Russia has three representatives left in the competition, including defending champions Krasnye Krylia and Last 16 debutantsUral Ekaterinburg, while the other teams are coming from 12 different countries.
In the Last 16, four groups of four teams will play another six game days in a round robin system.
The Last 16 will kick off on 14th January and run through 25th February 2014.
