Aaron McGhee is Eurochallenge Week 6 Top Performer

Aaron McGhee came up with a season-best 18 rebounds in Ural Ekaterinburg's win at Tofas Bursa to edge out three other contenders for EuroChallenge Week 6 Top Statistical Performer honours.

The veteran big man of Ekaterinburg registered an efficiency index rating of 31 on Tuesday, while Aleksandar Mladenovic of BC Mures, Maxime De Zeeuw of Port of Antwerp Giants and Julian Wright of Krasnye Krylia all reached a rating of 30.

In addition to his monster rebounding display, McGhee, who turned 34 last June, scored 21 points and blocked two shots in Bursa.

The American forward/center stayed on the court for 32 minutes and drew seven fouls from Tofas players, sinking all 10 of his shots from the foul line, and went 5-for-12 from the floor.

Tuesday's double-double was the first in this EuroChallenge season for McGhee, who has not been a stranger however to big performances since landing in Europe in 2002, on behalf of Scavolini Pesaro, and embarking on a career that saw him play for clubs also in Asia and South America.
