Israeli powerhouse Maccabi Tel Aviv has agreed to a deal with point guard Scottie Wilbekin, a source told Sportando. The deal is done and Maccabi will pay a buyout to free Wilbekin from his contract with Darussafaka, sources told Sportando. An official announcement will arrive after the player will pass his physicals.
The point guard will sign a 2+1 deal, a source told Sportando. Wilbekin led Darussafaka to the win in Eurocup last season and will replace Pierre Jackson, who left Maccabi and signed in China.
