The 2018 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Final Four in Belgrade was the perfect marriage between a sport and a city.
And no one knows that better than a pair ex-champions with deep ties to Serbian capital who returned to take it all in from their unique vantage point: hometown hero Bogdan Bogdanovic and local favorite Pero Antic.
With their wit and camaraderie, Antic and Bogdanovic are the protagonists – along with Belgrade – of the newest title in The Insider EuroLeague Documentary Series: "Home of Glory".
Having won the EuroLeague title one year earlier with Fenerbahce Dogus Istanbul, these former teammates reunite for a chance to witness from the sidelines what they knew as players on the court at recent Final Fours.
They also show viewers what makes them love Belgrade so much, from a trip to Bogdanovic's boyhood outdoor court to trying their hands at Serbian cuisine at a favorite restaurant.
Along the way, they meet up with another former teammate, Ekpe Udoh, and are joined by former All-EuroLeague player and Belgrade native Dusko Savanovic.
Follow them through a magical weekend to its sporting conclusion and find out what these sons of the city feel watching Europe's biggest basketball event in Belgrade, home of glory.
