Euroleague Basketball is delighted to welcome Turkish real estate investment and trust company Sinpas REIT to its family of partners. Euroleague Basketball and Sinpas jointly announced the partnership at a press conference at the luxurious Four Seasons at the Bosphorus, in the heart of Istanbul.

The new partnership comes in the season following the tremendous success of the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Final Four in Istanbul, which highlighted the huge, ongoing growth of Euroleague Basketball competitions in the Turkish market. This exciting, new partnership with Sinpas once again shows the broad appeal of Euroleague Basketball to leaders in economic sectors that have not traditionally chosen continental basketball competitions as a vehicle to grow their businesses.

"We are proud that Sinpas is our new partner because this well-respected company expands the scope of our growing sponsorship portfolio to a new industry," Jordi Bertomeu, Euroleague Basketball's President and CEO, said. "To have a real estate investment and trust company see the opportunities for exposure afforded by our competitions shows the many possibilities that elite basketball generates to connect businesses to clients."

As the biggest real estate developer in Turkey, with 12 real estate projects and seven plots in its portfolio, Sinpas brings some different strategies and approaches to the partnership that promise to be mutually beneficial. Sinpas is in the initial stages of organizing a leadership conference for the benefit of executives from Euroleague Basketball and the clubs of the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague. A special dinner is planned that will bring some of Sinpas's VIP clients together with EuroLeague players and coaches. Sinpas is also engaged in an advertising campaign that features the most successful coach in European basketball history, nine-time EuroLeague champion Zeljko Obradovic.

"There is a huge group of people supporting Turkish basketball domestically as well as internationally. We see such people among our customers, too," Seba Gacemer, Sinpas General Manager, said. "We want to interact with them not only in our sales offices, but also in these social environments. That is the reason why two valuable brands, Sinpas and Euroleague Basketball, are signing an agreement to start off a great collaboration."

Sinpas REIT is part of Sinpas Group, which was founded in 1974 and operates in the real estate development, industrial production, service, finance and energy sectors. Sinpas Group is made up of 28 companies and has more than 3,500 employees. Sinpas REIT is a market leader in Turkey and the largest publicly traded real estate investment and trust company on the Istanbul Stock Exchange, whose business focus lies in Turkey, its neighboring countries and the Gulf region. Sinpas REIT had a market valuation of 2.2 billion New Turkish Lira at the end of 2016.
