EuroLeague team Panathinaikos has tried to acquire French big man Louis Labeyrie from Strasbourg but the ProA team and coach Vincent Collet don't want to let him leave, according to L'Equipe.
The New York Knicks stash is currently under contract with the French team until 2019 and has an opt-out clause this summer.
Labeyrie is averaging 15.2 points and 8.3 rebounds per game in the French ProA, shooting 67% from the field and a great 60% from beyond the 3-point arc.
