Luka Doncic finds himself once again in a familiar position as the MVP of the Round after pacing Real Madrid to a 77-79 road win over Turkish Airlines EuroLeague champions Fenerbahce Dogus Istanbul on Thursday. In a rematch of their 2017 semifinal, Madrid extended its winning streak to four games as Doncic came within 2 rebounds of the first EuroLeague triple-double in 11 years. His 20 points came on 3-for-3 from two-point and 11-for-12 free throw shooting. He also dished 10 assists, pulled down 8 rebounds, had 2 steals and drew 10 fouls, accumulating performance index rating of 37, the highest of all players in Round 15. This is Doncic's third MVP of the Round honor, which leads all EuroLeague players this season, and it was his fourth PIR of 35 or higher, three more than any other player. The second-best PIR of the round, 35, belonged to Sergio Rodriguez of league leaders CSKA Moscow. In a road win over Baskonia Vitoria Gasteiz, Rodriguez scored 25 points, connecting on 3 of 6 two-point shots and 6 of 9 three-pointers. He also had 8 assists, 6 rebounds, 1 steal and 5 fouls drawn. In that same game, Baskonia's Tornike Shengelia finished with an index rating of 33 after collecting 20 points, 13 rebounds, 2 assists and 7 fouls drawn. Fourth among best performers of the round was Derrick Brown of Anadolu Efes Istanbul, who had a PIR of 29 in just his fifth game of the season. Brown posted 21 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists, 3 steals, 1 block and 5 fouls drawn in come-from-behind home win over Brose Bamberg. The fifth-best performer in Round 15 was Milko Bjelica of Crvena Zvezda mts Belgrade, index rating 28, after his 18 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists and 10 fouls drawn in a victory over AX Armani Exchange Olimpia Milan.
