Euroleague to keep 16 teams format for other two seasons?
The board is thinking about it
After the rumors of a possible expansion to 18 teams for the next season in Euroleague, the other option Euroleague is considering is about keeping the 16 teams format for other two seasons. Expanding the number of the teams already next season, in fact, would weaken even more the relationship with FIBA because the schedule will become even longer than now, giving less room to a negotiation for the NT windows during the season.
Bayern Munich and at least one English club are trying to become part of Euroleague in the coming future.
