VODAVODA water becomes Euroleague Basketball licensing partner
VODAVODA was founded and is headquartered in Serbia, whose capital city Belgrade will host the 2018 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Final Four in May
Euroleague Basketball and VODAVODA have teamed up on an agreement that makes the artesian bottled water company an Official Licensing Partner of the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague and the 7DAYS EuroCup for the next three years.
VODAVODA was founded and is headquartered in Serbia, whose capital city Belgrade will host the 2018 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Final Four in May.
As part of the licensing agreement, VODAVODA will produce a line of special edition water bottles for each Turkish Airlines EuroLeague and 7DAYS EuroCup team that display the logos of each club and the league. The countries VODAVODA is currently distributing water to include Serbia, Montenegro, Croatia, Slovenia, FYR Macedonia, Kuwait, Qatar, South Korea and Singapore, and that list is constantly growing.
"We are pleased that VODAVODA has chosen to become our newest Official Licensing Partner now, when all eyes will be on Serbia as the final destination of the new season," Roser Queralto, Chief Business Development Officer of Euroleague Basketball, said. "VODAVODA's water is pure and tasty. It also comes in attractive and efficient bottles. That all adds up to the kind of high-quality standards that Euroleague Basketball can identify with and help VODAVODA expose to more markets through basketball."
VODAVODA is easily recognizable for its crystal-clear mineral water in squared bottles. The water is bottled using modern technology without environmental pollution and with the highest standards, using internationally-approved certificates of bottling and quality. VODAVODA's water is sourced from a thousand-year-old spring at depths up to 605 meters near the Banja Vrujci spa in the northwestern part of Serbia.
"We are honored to sign with a prestigious sports entity like Euroleague Basketball, and so to become part of an elite and significant sports family," Vojin Djordjevic, creator of the VODAVODA brand, said. "On top of that, we see a great opportunity with this season's Final Four landing in one of our best-positioned markets. We hope that VODAVODA can be a reliable 'playmaker' every season and will contribute to significant sporting achievements to the satisfaction of Euroleague Basketball, participating clubs, and all fans of basketball and sports in general."
