Nicolò Melli: 'I've said no to a big NBA offer to sign with Fenerbahce, I want to win the Euroleague

After two great seasons in Germany with Bamberg, this summer Italian forward Nicolò Melli has signed a deal with Euroleague champions Fenerbahce. But the player also received a strong interest from the NBA, as he revealed in an interview with Il Corriere della Sera:

"I've turned down a big offer from the NBA," Melli told in the interview. "It wasn't easy to say no to the NBA, it has always been my dream to play in the NBA. But first I want to win the Euroleague with Fenerbahce."

The NBA offer that Melli turned down was from the Atlanta Hawks, according to a source.
